We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our team and support our client in Vienna, VA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define current core business processes that transcend organizational and functional boundaries.
  • Identify core common business processes shared across the enterprise and participate in enterprise wide efforts to reach common understanding of those processes
  • Apply a structured and systematic approach to capture high level views of the enterprise business model and processes in current state business architecture.
  • Create optimized high-level views of enterprise business model and processes in target state business architecture.
  • Align artifacts and approach with broader business process vision.
  • Provide expertise in influencing organizational culture to implement business process re-designs.
  • Partner with business stewards to define performance metrics for target business process methodologies.
  • Partner with other departments to identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency in strategic and tactical efforts.
  • Review and assess proposed or current projects for adherence to business process standards.
  • Confer with business unit's staff to understand the business requirements.
  • Evaluate the impact of enterprise business culture re-engineering work and services on business operations and customer fulfillment.
  • Create performance metrics and traceability maps to determine the effectiveness of business architecture and facilitate governance.

 Work Experience:

  • Must have 10+ years of Business Process expertise.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Visio for creating the process model diagrams
  • Expertise in creating wire diagrams and swim lane diagrams with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Will have the ability to ensure the right initiatives are undertaken and the benefits are being fully realized throughout the enterprise.
  • Will have had multiple years of experience championing project management disciplines and providing the processes, structures, and tools for individual project management and program management across the transformation.
  • Strong background in providing a governance structure for numerous organizations.
  • Hands on experience with IBM Blueworks is a nice to have
  • Proven results in areas of business service strategy/planning, project strategy/planning, communication and change management, and continuous improvement performance management.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • None

 Communication Skills:

  • Solid ability to interface, inspire and motivate at various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.

 Travel:

  • None

 Environmental Requirements:

  • Mainly sedentary; in an office environment. 
  • May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
  • Flexible in working extended hours.
