We are seeking a Business Process Specialist to join our team and support our client in Arlington, VA

*This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Analyzes process and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams. Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts.

Work Experience: 

  • 3+ years' Experience creating and improving IT processes
  • 3+years' developing and analyzing reports
  • 3+ years working with users on Business Application technologies
  • 3+ years working on implementing ITIL CSI processes

Job Skills: 

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adjust personal work style to different situations
  • Ability to manage multiple in-process tasks and projects with different priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to follow direction from team members and provide warnings when timelines may need to be adjusted
  • Ability to translate customer requests into implementation tasks
  • Ability to understand basic graphing and reporting concepts

Education: 

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience (4 years)  

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: 

  • IAT II (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP or CISSP) required
  • Project Management certifications preferred
  • ITIL v3 Foundations preferred
  • Current Secret or Interim Secret Clearance Required

 Communication Skills: 

  • Excellent business and technical communication skills including the following: Email, documentation, presentation, Virtual, Telephone  

Travel:

  •  Willing to travel occasionally as needed (up to 10%)

Environmental Requirements: 

  • Mainly sedentary work in an office environment
  • May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
  • Flexible to work extended hours
