We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team.  This position will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering innovative and highly effective technology enabled solutions to address key business challenges facing clients.  This position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer. The ideal candidate will have provided solutions across both the federal and commercial sectors. We prefer candidates that have been involved in the full development lifecycle from capture and proposal through project initiation to production deployment. The ideal candidate will have effectively architected projects with teams in excess of 10 practitioners, as well as, hands-on deployment in an AGILE environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and business direction to consolidate and enhance company's strengths in technology to pursue new business and support existing business
  • Provide technology leadership to identify, qualify, pursue and propose new business
  • Participate as technical expert during all phases of the pursuit
  • Serve as the main technology interface between federal and commercial divisions
  • Lead the firm's strategic corporate alliances and associated go to market strategies
  • Analyze market trends for their implications on new business/solution development

Work Experience:

  • At least 10+ years of consulting experience architecting medium to larger scale projects of medium to high complexity
  • Experience working in a number of technology areas including Big Data & Advanced Analytics, Agile Engineering, DevOps and Emerging/Innovative Technologies
  • Experience providing technology leadership and innovation, and successfully bridging the gap between business and technology
  • Successful track record in identifying and developing new business
  • Strategic planning for expansion into new market segments
  • Establishing and managing "trusted advisor" relationships with senior government leaders, C-level executives, and strategic alliance with partners and vendors
  • Broad domain experience in: Defense Health Agency (DHA), Military Health System (MHS), Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS), Dept. of Veterans Affairs (VA), as well as other federal agencies.
  • Experience in providing solutions within the Commercial Market Sector
  • Experience in business requirements gathering, gap analysis, and design of solutions
  • Experience working in an AGILE environment and participating in sprints
  • Sales cycle experience, including meetings with prospects, development of estimates, proposals, and statements of work.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring client and consultant team members.
  • Experience leading client discussions from pre-sales/business development, client workshops, design reviews, and presentation of solutions to all levels of management.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing all levels of organization
  • Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner


  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree is preferred


  • Willing to travel occasionally as needed (up to 10%).

Environmental Requirements:

  • Mainly sedentary; in an office environment.  May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
  • Flexible in working extended hours
